A 22-year-old man has been arrested for causing nuisance and assaulting the staff of Mustafa Centre.
On Saturday morning, police officers deployed to the scene found the suspect in an unsteady state and incapable of taking care of himself. The suspect appeared drunk and was unable to provide an account of his presence at Mustafa Centre.
Police found out that the man was earlier advised to leave but he refused and caused a nuisance instead, and assaulted Mustafa Centre's staff in the process.
The visit pass holder was then arrested.
He will be charged in court today for drunkenness in a public place, voluntarily causing hurt and using criminal force.
