In the latest Bitcoin development here, local broker Coin Republic launched the first Bitcoin vending machine capable of cashing out (watch video below) at Bartini Kitchen yesterday.
This brings the the total number of Bitcoin vending machines islandwide to eight — the other seven being cash-in machines only.
Apart from exchanging your Bitcoins for cash, the new machine also allows you to purchase bitcoins.
Made by creators of the world's first Bitcoin ATM Robocoin, the machine comes ready with safety feature like ID scanner and palm vein reader which can be activated, if required by regulating body the Monetary Authority of Singapore, in the future.
