If you've visited London in the past couple of years or so, you'd be familiar with the eye-catching red awnings of UK café chain Pret A Manger all across the city.
The British gourmet sandwich shop chain may be relatively unknown here, but overseas it's pretty prominent. Known for its focus on organic and natural ingredients with freshly prepared sandwiches, baguettes, salads, Pret A Manger basically does ready-to-do edibles and beverages that happen to be healthy as well. It first opened in Hampstead, London in '86, and has since expanded to over 350 shops worldwide, with the atas sandwiches finding homes in USA, Paris, Hong Kong, Dubai and more.
