A 21-year-old man was discovered driving a sports car without a licence on Monday night (Dec 12) — to make matters worse, he reportedly drove against traffic to evade a police roadblock. The incident took place around 11.20pm near Joo Chiat Place, and the man was behind the wheel of a yellow McLaren car — allegedly the discontinued MP4-12C Spider.
It is believed that he was travelling along Lorong 101 Changi when he spotted the roadblock. After the police saw him, he reversed about 40m and made a turn into Joo Chiat Terrace, then to Tembeling Road, where he drove against traffic.
