It's the final countdown, folks. To the closure of the former Tanjong Pagar Railway Station, that is. The national monument's last ever open house — before it closes for the construction of the Circle Line's Cantonment MRT station — will be held on Christmas Day (Dec 25).
It's been open every public holiday since February 2015, but after this Christmas, the space will remain closed until the completion of the MRT station in 2025.
So head on down to say your goodbyes to the railway station as you know it.
From 9pm to 9pm, the free open house will feature a Christmas market, with festive carol performances by a cappella group NUS Resonance from 5pm and melodies by the Richard Jackson jazz quartet from 7pm.
