Come April next year, folks still using ancient non-smartphones (dumbphones?) will be forced to upgrade their tech with the rest of society as the Singapore will no longer support the 2G phone network.
It's long been known, of course — back in 2015, the three big telcos Singtel, M1 and StarHub announced they would be ceasing the provision of all 2G voice, messaging and data services.
