Expect only top-notch laughing stock at this 'bar-hopping comedy festival' happening April 23 — 26 at where else, but hotter-than-ever nightlife attraction Boat Quay.
The Magners Singapore International Comedy Festival will feature altogether 34 comedians and 131 shows spread out over 10 venues such as Barbershop by Timbre, Boomerang, Penny Black, The Men's Room at Merry Men and Molly Malone's, so if it's been awhile since you last had a night out here, this is a good time to mark your calendar.
In the massive lineup you'll find some luminous characters, each with their own cult following and unique offering, such as Luisa Omielan (UK) of the critically acclaimed What Would Beyonce Do? act, and Alan Anderson (top photo), whose show Whisky for Dafties speaks to both fans of whisky and Scottish humour.
Also making an appearance are up and coming Indian talents Sanjay Manaktala and Sundeep Rao, as well as self-titled 'migga' Imaan Hadchiti (photo below).
Ooh and if you think you've got a hefty funny bone about you, the Comedy Fest is also holding a talent search, where winners will get a chance to attend and be a part of the Edinburgh Festival in August. Accommodation, flights and a performance venue will be provided.
An all-access pass for any one night is now on sale for $75 via Sistic.
