Imagine this: A school excursion to Haw Par Villa starts out just like any other, when suddenly, your friend faints and the paramedics can't seem to diagnose his condition. He's deteriorating quickly. They bring him to the hospital, but he may not survive the day. An enigmatic old lady in touch with the spiritual world tells you he's been mistakenly abducted, and it's now up to you to rescue him before he sips the tea of amnesia and goes down the path to reincarnation.
Frightened yet? Don't worry, the terrifying tale isn't real. It's the plot of "Journey to The End and Back", a new outdoor escape game at Haw Par Villa jointly organised by the park's new operator Journeys and escape game experts Lockdown Singapore. Clues are provided to participants, who have to traipse across about a third of the park's area to solve puzzles and save the day.
