With all the rage and fury of a thousand suns over a possible decision to make Singapore's teachers pay for parking at schools, the Ministry of Education (MOE) are taking extra care and time in their review.
The hubbub started when news came out that MOE will be reviewing carpark fees for schools, where already overworked teachers might face mandatory charges if they want to drive to work. Currently, parking remains free at most primary and secondary schools and junior colleges, while almost all public service organisations charge normally for parking at their premises.
