In yet another terrifying episode orchestrated by terrorists, a suicide bombing in a popular central Istanbul tourist site has left at least 10 foreigners dead.
The attack — suspected to be carried out by an Islamic State suicide bomber — occured in Sultanahmet Square, right next to the Istanbul's famous Blue Mosque. Eight Germans and a Peruvian man have been confirmed as the victims of the blast, while another 15 people were injured in the attack yesterday.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) have assured that they've not received any reports of Singaporeans directly affected by the explosion.
