A 27-year-old who brazenly slashed his friends in two separate incidents on the same night was sentenced to 20 months in prison today.
Sari Gujang was reportedly high on drugs while chilling out with two friends at a coffeshop in Bedok North, but talking about past issues led him to slash 20-year-old Zaifudin Zakariah's ankle with a Swiss Army Knife, reports Channel NewsAsia.
Sadly, it didn't end there.
Sari, who had left on his motorcycle after the incident, returned an hour later with a 30cm-long knife. This time he used it on his other friend, 26-year-old Muhammad Rizuwan Zakariah, whom he slashed on his bicep and palm. Again he casually walked away from the scene, even telling two passerbys not to go to the coffee shop because had just slashed someone there.
Sari pleaded guilty to one count of voluntarily causing hurt by a knife and one count of drug consumption.
