Another day, another award for Singapore Airlines (SIA). Singapore's flag carrier was named the world's second best airline at the Paris Airshow on Tuesday.
UK-based air travel consultancy firm Skytrax however handed out the Airline of the Year award to Qatar Airways, while last year's winner Cathay Pacific Airlines dropped to third just below SIA. This year's World Airline Awards sees SIA gaining one spot toward the top.
Of course, as illustrious as it is, SIA also won other awards including World's Best Business Class, World's Best First Class Airline Seat as well as the Best Airline in Asia.
