Man involved in credits-for-sex scam arrested; more than $1.25m stolen from victimsThere's really nothing easier to fool a man than with the temptation of sex — police have arrested a 22-year-old man for his involvement in a credits-for-sex scam that accumulated over $1.25 million.  The scam would involve unknown women asking their targets to purchase for them online shopping credits through the messaging app WeChat in exchange for a date or sexual favour. The victims would them be asked to buy the credits at self-service machines and send over an image of the receipt (which has the redemption code) to the women via e-mail. The seductresses would not show up, and the victim would have lost a shitload of money.  The Straits Times reported that recent cases have seen victims being asked to leave their bank cards and PINs in a public place before meeting the women — and of course the money in their accounts would then be transacted away. Really, these victims were practically thinking with their dicks.  There were at least 500 reports that were made about the credits-for-sex scams made between January and May this year, such is the efficiency of dangling the promise of sex in front of these boys.  Photo: Miwok via Flickr
