As a pre-cursor to the Singapore International Festival of Arts, The O.P.E.N. is set to kick off a month beforehand as an exclusive sneak preview before things start proper.
From Jun 16 to Jul 4, The O.P.E.N offers concerts, films, salons and exhibitions that will be presented as a public engagement initiative that raises questions and remarkable insight about the world and humanity.
Treat yo'self to a bevy of activities across different venues in Singapore with movie screenings of films including Iran's powerful This Is Not A Film, the Edward Snowden documentary Citizenfour, and Pablo Larraín's multi-award winning trilogy of films about Chile's troubled past under dictator Augusto Pinochet. On top of that, there'll be dance performances, talks with artists and even live music by Inch Chua and audio-visual collective Syndicate.
