The SEA Games opening ceremony is happening tomorrow evening and roads in the area will be closed to traffic from 3pm to 1am. There are 7,000 participating athletes and a fleet of 650 cars and buses ferrying them. You get the picture.
Of course it's an entirely different story if you have tickets to watch the show. If that's the case, the National Stadium gates will open at 5pm. The rest of us will be watching the live broadcast on our tablets and phones (there's an app for that!) or even YouTube, thank you very much.
