Pre-flight jitters getting you down? Why not stroll into the new two-storey DFS duplex and get a drink or two while you're at it?
Changi Airport Terminal 3 welcomed DFS' new wines and spirits flagship boutique yesterday, a 11,400 sq ft store showcasing over 1,400 wines, spirits and tobacco products from over 400 brands, including Absolut, Dom Pérignon, Hennesy, The Macallan, Martell and more.
Visitors can also expect to see master distillers, blenders and brand ambassadors throughout the year, as well as a series of global product launches.
Showing that they're not holding back on their exhibition of opulence, they roped in award-winning interior designer Masamichi Katayama to design a visually stunning store environment, accompanied with tasting bars, a private lounge and in the form of Raffles Long Bar. And yes, their original classic concoction Singapore Sling will also be served at the bar.
As part of SG50, DFS will be introducing exclusive products from The Dalmore, D.O.M Bénédictine, Jack Daniel’s and Johnnie Walker.
" The store – with its stunning façade and double volume grandeur – is not only a design showpiece on its own, but the extensive range of products and unique boutiques truly enhance the overall retail experience," says CEO of Changi Airport Group Lee Seow Hiang. "It is in keeping with the DNA of Changi Airport where service is personalized, stress-free and positively surprising."
