Police are currently investigating a case where a Singapore Armed Forces (SAF) regular serviceman passed away under unknown circumstances.
49-year-old Master Warrant Officer (MWO) Jude Sebastian Vincent was found unconscious in Stagmont Camp in Chua Chu Kang on Apr 17, according to a news release by the Ministry of Defence (Mindef)
He was immediately evacuated to the Stagmont Medical Centre before being transferred to the National University Hospital (NUH). En route to the hospital, an SAF Medical Officer and medics continue to resuscitate him, but MWO Vincent shortly expired at NUH.
"The Ministry of Defence and the SAF extend their deepest condolences to the family of the late MWO Vincent," they wrote. "The SAF is assisting the family in their time of grief."
