Kodaline is set to play in Singapore on Aug. 13, with Australia's Sheppard as their opening act.
The Irish indie rock band gained mainstream success with their first studio album In a Perfect World, especially hit single "All I Want", which was included in the soundtrack for Grey's Anatomy, The Fault in Our Stars and The Vampire Diaries.
Motivated to shake up their sound, a desire inspired by their week in Los Angeles with prolific producer Jacknife Lee, Kodaline released their second album Coming Up for Air less than two years later, in December 2014. "Jacknife opened our eyes to different ways of working," bassist Jason Boland revealed. “He gave us a lesson in experimentation. The way he records is amazing. He has everything in the studio turned on, synths all over the place, instruments everywhere. If you want to play something, you pick it up.”
Chart-topping indie pop group from Brisbane Sheppard, will open for Kodaline on Aug. 13. They've produced two albums since 2009, as well as several hit singles, including "Geronimo".
Video and ticket details will be announced later today, March 16.
