Four young men aged between 15 and 22 have been arrested for ganging up and assaulting a 40-year-old man in Tampines.
Police had received a call for assistance in the vicinity of Tampines Street 21 at 3.40am on Mar 6, where they found out that the 40-year-old man was involved in a dispute with the four suspects before they beat him up.
Within 20 hours of the incident, the identities of the suspects were established and they were arrested on the same day.
If convicted for the offence of voluntarily causing grievous hurt, they will be punished with imprisonment of up to 10 years and will also be liable to fine or caning.
