GCE 'A'-Level results at its best since 2006 syllabus overhaul 'A'-Level results were released yesterday and the Ministry of Education (MOE) had much to be happy about — the number of students with at least three H2 passes are at its highest ever since a major change to the curriculum was carried out in 2006, Channel NewsAsia reports. According to the MOE, 91.4 percent of the students who sat for last year's Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education Advanced Level Examination as school candidates received a least three H2 passes, with a pass in General Paper or Knowledge and Inquiry.  Last year, only 91.1 percent of students received the same result, and only 87.9 percent in 2009.  The curriculum change in 2006 dictates that candidates have to undergo at least three H2 subjects and one H1 content-based subjects (Economics, Geography, Math, etc), General Paper or Knoweldege and Inquiry, Project Work and a Mother Tongue Language.  Photo: Ministry of Education Facebook page   Got a tip?
