![Following MRT breakdown yesterday, Bukit Panjang LRT line follows suit]()
Barely a day since a major service disruption along the North-South Line between Yew Tee and Kranji MRT stations, train troubles manifested again earlier today at the Bukit Panjang LRT line.
At 12.20pm SMRT tweeted an announcement about the halt of train services between Choa Chua Kang and Keat Hong LRT stations in both directions. Free bus services were provided to stranded commuters throughout the entire system. They later clarified that the LRT system was down temporarily due to a train fault.
[BPLRT] No train service btwn #Choa Chu Kang & #Keat Hong. Free public & shuttle buses are now available at all BPLRT stations.

Train services resumed later on at half past one, but the damage was already done — two major disruptions in SMRT services back to back, as netizens were kind enough to remind.
Yesterday was NSL from Yew Tee to Kranji breakdown, today is BP LRT from CCK to Keat Hong. Seriously, SMRT?
