![Malaysian math rock maestros Dirgahayu to return for a show this February]()
Malaysian aggro math rockers Dirgahayu have been in the business of face-melting even before the band was formed — the members had more than enough experience doing so in their previous roles playing for art-rock ensemble Akta Angkasa and screamo outfit Custom Daisy.
After several rounds of incendiary live shows and a stint in last year's Urbanscapes Festival 2014, the lads are ready to take their brand of high-octane instrumental rock — filled with electric bursts of progressive riffs and intricate chaos — to the land of Japan as part of their Commemorate! album release tour.
Right before they take flight to Nippon-koku though, they'll be stopping by Singapore for an exclusive show at the cosy confines of Lithe Paralogue studio. The evening of Feb 28 promises to be an odyssey of soundscapes together with fellow sonic dissectors The Psalms, sub:shaman and ANECHOIS, accompanied by the sedative visual projections of SSYSTM.
Tickets at the door go at $10 - stay updated on the Facebook event page.
