In previous months, we knew that the rebooted Hitman film adaptation had some scenes shot in Singapore, but nobody knew how much footage of our familiar streets and landmarks will be used in the movie.
Judging from the first official trailer for Hitman: Agent 47, looks like Singapore'll be pretty fucking prominent.
From the trailer alone, it seems that the titular Agent 47 (played by Brit thespian Rupert Friend) and Zachary Quinto's character will be facing off several times here, with what looks to be a major action sequence on the streets of Robinson Road and another one at an aerospace facility (Singapore Aviation Academy probably?) starring ITE's very own aircraft. Oh, and it looks like ComfortDelGro paid a lot of money to make it look like they're the only taxi operators here.
Looking at the movie poster itself, we should have known that Singapore will play a major role in Agent 47's ongoing operation. Let's just hope that the movie doesn't suck as bad as the '07 iteration — but really, you shouldn't expect anything much because films based on video games have an innate ability to be painfully meh.
