The National Environment Agency (NEA) has suspended the operations of Hotpot Culture, a restaurant in Marina Square, where a customer said she'd found a rat in the food.
Caron Chan had earlier today uploaded photos of what looked like a small rodent in a tray of vegetables at the restaurant's porridge buffet, onto her Facebook page.
The post has since gone viral with more than 2,000 shares.
An NEA spokesperson told TODAY, "The restaurant has been instructed to suspend its operations immediately while NEA conducts its investigations.”
