A lift lobby is the last place you'd leave a blazing fire, but that's exactly what an inconsiderate resident of Geylang Bahru did.
A Stomp netizen witnessed a fire left unattended at the lift lobby when a resident disposed asked of incense offerings on a piece of cardboard.
The resulting fire charred the walls of the lift lobby, leaving unsightly black stains all over, along with ashes scattered all over the floor. The netizen remarked that the resulting mess will be a headache for the cleaners to clear.
