An amazing restaurant, but the fact it's the only Singapore contender to make it to not the global, but the Asia ranking, is disturbing.
Singapore prides itself on being a food nation and heck knows how much the government and malls have spent in the past year trying to attract all the Michelin stars they can get; yet reviewers on the world's largest travel planning site can't even like the best steak restaurant here enough to put it in the region's top 10.
We've taken the 21st spot, a far cry from restaurants like Beijing's TRB, Patong's Le Versace and Indian Accent in New Delhi, who've taken the top three places respectively.
A total of 353 fine dining restaurant winners were identified in TripAdvisor's 2014 Travellers' Choice Awards, including the top 25 in the world and dedicated lists for Asia, Canada, China, Europe, India, South America, South Pacific, the UK and the US.
