A recent study of the searches on TripAdvisor.com reveals that Taipei is the Singaporean destination of choice for the New Year.
The study, which looked at activity on the website linked to the period between Dec. 27 and Jan. 4, also shows that Singaporeans aren't planning to go out of the Asia-Pacific region, with Australia, Japan and South Korea being the furthest destinations.
Most of the global travellers active on TripAdvisor, however, are choosing to spend their New Year's Eve in London, New York City and Paris respectively.
Singapore has also made the global travellers' list, but at no. 15, just below Sydney and Brazil.
