A Bahrain couple on vacation in Singapore are in a tizzy over the ridiculous amount of money billed to them after a nail pampering session at HarbourFront Centre, The New Paper reports.
Mr. Ali Hasan Aldhaen and Ms. Michelle Ong told the local tabloid they had expected the price of their package at the Quiche Nail Spa to be below $300 and were shocked to see that it'd cost them "more than what five-star hotels charge".
Quiche Nail Spa, which is not new to complaints — TNP says another couple has complained about their exorbitant prices before, while comments on their website accuse them of "outrageous gouging"— have however argued that customers are made aware throughout of how much they will have to pay.
