A section along Upper Serangoon Road was in a state of disarray yesterday evening when an SBS transit bus collided with a Comfort Delgro taxi, leaving 13 people injured.
TODAY reports that the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) were alerted to the incident around 7.30pm, dispatching a fire engine and four ambulances to the scene, which took place near Serangoon Junior College.

Images from the accident site exhibited the intensity of the collision — the bus’ front bumper and windshield had been severely damaged while the back of the taxi was extremely dented.
SCDF reported that no victims were found trapped at the accident site, and all 13 have been safely conveyed to hospitals — one to Kandang Kerbau Hospital, four to Tan Tock Seng Hospital and the rest to Changi General Hospital.
Investigations are ongoing.
