Anarchic tendencies and failed attempts at baddassery transcend all ages — a 50-year-old man was arrested yesterday for vandalising a police message board.
The police received a call on Oct. 26 from a member of public regarding a damaged police message board at the lift lobby of a block in Hougang. The acrylic board had been used to display crime prevention advisories.
After confirming the damage, officers conducted ground enquiries and reviewed CCTV footage and identified the culprit. The suspect was subsequently apprehended for the offence of vandalism.
If convicted, he may face a jail term of up to three years or a fine, and caning.
