Between October 2012 and February 2013, 59-year-old logistics officer Lok Kwok committed a whopping 27 counts of sexual offences on five schoolboys studying around Bukit Batok.
According to The Straits Times, the serial paedophile used computer games and television as bait to lure the boys – aged 7 to 11 – into his Bukit Batok flat. There, he lavished the boys with gifts including toys and money to get them to hug and kiss him, caress his private areas and perform oral sex on him. He’d even take photographs and videos of the indecent acts for his personal sexual enjoyment.
Lok has admitted to a total of eight charges under the Children and Young Persons Act and the Penal Code. He’s charged with a jail sentence of at least 12 years, and for each count of indecent act, he faces up to five years in jail and a maximum of $10,000 fine.
He’ll be convicted on Nov. 3.
