The elderly and the disabled will soon be able to enjoy affordable dental healthcare at their doorstep when NTUC Health launches their mobile dental service in January next year.
It’s called the Unity Mobile Dental Clinic, and will offer a complete suite of dental services to patients on weekdays, Channel NewsAsia reports. The mobile unit will provides dental screening services on weekends, and is expected to reach out to 2,000 seniors over the course of a year.
The mobile dental clinic project is part of Singapore’s ongoing improvement to healthcare productivity that taps on technology. Another project sees the usage of radio frequency systems to track dementia patients.
