A video uploaded to YouTube in October last year is making its rounds on social media, thanks to Stomp.
In the heartfelt 12-minute tribute, 35-year-old Singaporean Chandru expresses his love for his wife whom he affectionally calls "Pinky", now in a coma for the second year running.
Pinky had slipped into a vegetative state in 2012, due to a brain injury from massive blood loss and cardiac arrest.
The couple have two children Rheena and Ryan — the latter has not yet met his mother.
Chandru describes in the video how he met Pinky, and how he proposed to her when they were only 16 years of age. He also calls her "amazing" (countless times) and reveals one of his first impressions of her: "she is real beautiful, in every angle".
The video also shows Pinky's mother expressing her hope for her daughter's recovery, as well as footage from the couple's wedding.
And all this, to the sound of The Piano Guys'"Just the Way You Are" cover.
