Tools of the Trade (ToTT) yesterday announced 365 Days of Fun: Recipes for Any Occasion, a themed cookbook filled with contributions from local star chefs, now on sale via their physical and online stores.
Split into sections like "movie night", "father-son indoor camp" and "welcoming the out-of-towners", the book is relatively light, easy to navigate and pretty to look at.
There are in total 24 recipes chefs Andrew Walsh (Esquina), Audra Morrice, Benjamin Siwek (db Bistro Moderne), Bernice Ong (Salted Caramel), Bjorn Shen (Artichoke), Felix Chong (Truffle Gourmet), Ian Hioe (Swissotel Merchant Court) and Shen Tan (Ujong), all designed to set the mood for a gathering or party.
The ones we're already planning to get into: Bjorn Shen's 2am Lovers' Mess (a sharing bowl of dessert goodness) and Shen Tan's kaya sticky buns. Hioe's beef burgers with blue potato chips are also winner, as we discovered at the launch event.
365 Days of Fun is retailing at $12.90 each.
