In a police announcement made on Sept. 5, various roads in the Little India area will be closed due to this year’s Deepavali Festival Village.
The event will go on for six and a half weeks from Sept. 6 to Oct. 22. During that period of time, Hastings Road, Campbell Lane and the extreme right lane of Serangoon Road will be closed.
Police remind that access to the aforementioned roads are only granted to emergency vehicles and parking restrictions will be strictly enforced. Any vehicles found parking indiscriminately and causing obstruction will be towed away.
