Seven top local filmmakers are working together on a feature film dedicated to Singapore, which turns 50 next year.
According to TODAY, this is the first time award-winning directors Boo Jun Feng, Eric Khoo, Jack Neo, Kelvin Tong, K. Rajagopal, Royston Tan and Tan Pin Pin are working together on a single project.
Project leader Roystan Tan (pictured) said, “All seven of us hope that this collaboration can inspire everyone to reflect on our nation’s journey, revel in how far we have come, and look forward to a brighter future.”
The film is supported by Media Development of Singapore (MDA) and the Singapore Film Commission (SFC), and is scheduled to release in mid-2015.
