Samsung GALAXY S5 4G+; SingTel
Singtel announced on Aug. 19 that they've rolled out their street-level coverage for 4G LTE-Advanced services to more than 55 percent of the island.
Faster and more stable running internet connection speed is now extended to areas such as Orchard, the Central Business District (CBD), Shenton Way, City Hall, Ang Mo Kio, Tampines, Jurong, Telok Blangah and Woodlands. This comes after their tie-up with Erisson, the mobile network equipment provider engaged for the deployment.
Singtel is also launching the Samsung GALAXY S5 4G+ and Samsung GALAXY Alpha 4G+, two of the very first handsets globally to be compatible with 4G LTE-Advanced networks.
The Samsung GALAXY S5 4+ will be available for sale tomorrow, starting at $0 with a $239.90 monthly subscription plan.
Samsung GALAXY Alpha 4G+ will launch in September 2014. Prices are to be announced at a later date.
