From now till Jul 27, Muslims in Singapore and around the world celebrate the holy month of Ramadan by observing a dawn-to-dusk fast — that means no drinking, eating, smoking, not even sucking on a lozenge to soothe your throat and spitting it out.
And every year when Ramadan rolls around, these will happen, or at least in our part of the world, which is lucky to enjoy a community with multiple races and beliefs.
