Artist Samantha Lo, better known as SKL0 or Sticker Lady after her high-profile brush with the law in 2012, has been hard at work.
Other than painting tattoo-style watercolours and sculpting toys, the creative multi-hyphenate is also still breathing Singaporean life into everyday things.
Her latest target: a donated OSIM uDiva massage chair.
Specially for the Art of Shopping Auction at the Marina Bay Sands Presidential Suite on Aug. 2, Lo has modified the chair into the "ultimate" lazy man seat or "Your Father's Throne", as it is officially called.
She's equipped it with a universal remote, cotton buds, Vaseline, tissue paper, a drink and chips holder, a cushion, as well as a bell to ring for service.
Bidding for Your Father's Throne will start at $2,600 at the live auction. Other products up for auction are an installation piece made with Liuli Living martini glasses and an Anne Fontaine jersey shirt embellished by Izziyana Suhaimi.
