Now that Heineken has taken over Asia Pacific Breweries, one of the brands in the company's portfolio Tiger Beer, is looking outside Singapore for marketing cheer.
It seems Tiger Beer has dropped local company DDB as its official creative agency.
In his statement to Marketing Magazine, CEO and president of DDB Group Singapore David Tang, said, "It's a pity they chose to look outside of Singapore for the creative brand idea but we're persuaded they will come back home soon one day - to really engage Singaporeans."
The official word isn't out yet, but award-winning New York agency Droga5 is rumoured to have scored the regional creatives for Tiger Beer this time.
