Real or Not? This girl practically lives in IkeaSo... According to this post on citizen journ site The Real Singapore, a girl is using a Singapore Ikea outlet as her living quarters.  If this is true, we don't blame her. We might not be the most expensive city in the world to live in (if you're a local, but it's a whole different ball game for expats, apparently), but the bills do add up.  Also, we've all wished we could take a five-minute nap on the couch or watch a bit of TV in the 11 sq. m. room at least once, amirite?  Unfortunately, this smells suspiciously like a publicity stunt by Ikano Retail Asia. The supposed memo was spotted by a 'customer', which means it had been put up outside the area of confidentiality. It also didn't read like an official circular and didn't specify which Ikea outlet in Singapore the 'intruder' has been occupying — a possible defense measure to avoid tainting any one outlet's rep in case the situation gets out of hand. Plus, if staff had wanted to catch her, they would've while she was curling her hair, snoring in bed or busy eating her lunch (watch video below). She's there during opening hours, after all.  PR folk sure are getting up to all sorts of antics these days before April Fool's. Check out Siti Khalijah's take on the jilted makcik, also going viral right now.   (function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = "//connect.facebook.net/en_GB/all.js#xfbml=1"; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs); }(document, 'script', 'facebook-jssdk')); Post by The Real Singapore.
