This year's edition of the Audi Fashion Festival (AFF), held from May 14 —18 at Ngee Ann City, will see a record five local designers getting their own solo shows.
They are Ashley Isham, Jo Soh of hansel, Nic Wong of Saturday, Priscilla Shunmugam of Ong Shunmugam and Yoyo Cao of Exhibit.
Singapore-born Nepalese American designer of the moment Prabal Gurung will set the precedent by opening the show, while Oscar de la Renta, famed for dressing up stars, will close it with his Fall 2014 Ready-To-Wear collection.
This year marks the annually-held AFF's debut as a fully independent and privately funded fashion event since its inception in 2009.
