A horrendous accident involving death and destruction transpired early this morning on the Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE) after a Mercedes car ran against the flow of traffic on the first lane of the highway.
Not much is known for now, but according to a witness, the Mercedes driver was going at the speed of 120km/h while driving against the flow of traffic near Tuas West Road — causing the gruesome aftermath you'll see in the footage below. A severely wrecked Mercedes car, a smashed barrier, a fallen motorcycle, an overturned car... it's simply a horrible scene to see on your Monday morning commute.
