Homegrown record label Middle Class Cigars has the perfect gift for the cool cats in your life this yuletide season — a mixtape comprising Christmassy songs by nine acts from the local indie music scene.
Appropriately titled A City Without Snow, the all-local compilation consists of seven original songs and two renditions of Christmas classics performed by artists from the Middle Class Cigars label and some of Singapore's most prominent indie acts. Instead of letting your relatives and friends belt out (or screech) carols, this mix'll add some super-chill tunes such as Linus Hablot's atmospheric rendition of 'Silent Night' and Intriguant's electronic sparkle in 'Daydream' to the year-end gatherings.
