![Singapore customers among first to get new phablet Xiaomi Note]()
Xiaomi's head of international expansion Hugo Barra announced on his Google+ page on March 20 that the Chinese smartphone company will ship its first ever phablet to customers in May.
The Xiaomi Note (erm, really? Samsung's not going to be happy) is dual-SIM supported and will feature a 5.5-inch 720p HD screen. Customers will also get a 13-megapixel back and five megapixel front camera.
According to Barra, the phone will cost about USD129 for the 1.4GHz/1GB version and USD159 for the 1.7GHz/2GB.
Customers in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore will get the phablet first, other markets will be announced soon.
