The Indonesian Navy made a strange find recently when they busted a smuggling operation near Pulau Galang, an island located southeast of Batam.
Among goods like used television sets, washing machines and other electronic equipment, they found used camouflage uniforms that were originally issued by the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF), The Straits Times reports.
On Wednesday, a team from Indonesia's Western fleet saw a vessel unloading goods near the island and busted the operation. A total of 19 truckloads of smuggled goods were found — but only one carried military attire. Both the old and newer versions of SAF No. 4 uniforms were found, along with combat boots.
