Even as Singapore reels from an outbreak of Zika (nearly 250 locally-transmitted cases right now), some folks just can't help themselves from inserting political conspiracies into matters.
After all, the Zika hotbed of Aljunied Crescent and Sims Drive do come under the the management of opposition party Workers' Party (WP). Since the outbreak began in their vicinity late last month, the Aljunied-Hougang Town Council have been working around the clock to contain the disease.
