Coming to no surprise to daily commuters on the Circle Line, the SMRT train service still remains as buggy as it was since the start of the week.
Today marks the fifth consecutive day that the Circle Line was affected by sporadic loss of signals between trains and stations, causing long delays and slower trains speeds. Delays during peak hours would last longer than 10 minutes, causing massive crowds of frustrated commuters at the line's underground platforms.
"Due to intermittent signalling issue, please cater for additional travel time on the CCL today" is the mantra that SMRT has been repeating for the past couple of days.
