Another day brings the tally of locally-transmitted Zika cases even further to 151 as the authorities find 31 new infected patients, including a pregnant woman.
This would be the second incident of an infected pregnant woman who tested positive for Zika following yesterday's similar case.
Again, the outbreak was found to have gone beyond the existing cluster of the Aljunied Crescent and Sims Drive area. Three of the 31 new cases reside in Tagore Avenue, Yishun Street 81 and Harvey Crescent. Earlier today, the National Environmental Agency (NEA) started control operations at Bedok North Avenue 3, Joo Seng and Punggol Way after finding some of the infected yesterday to be living in those vicinities.
