Singaporean swimmer Joseph Schooling qualified for the 100m butterfly semi-finals in the 2016 Rio Olympics this morning.
Schooling came in first in his heat at 51.41s and fastest in the round, besting the legendary Michael Phelps for the second time in his career.
"It was alright," Schooling told Channel NewsAsia. "It felt like a morning swim, nothing special. I laid off a bit, didn't really go for it. I set myself up well for tonight so see what I can do tonight."
